Epic Camp NZ 2021 - “Tour of the South”.
What the year 2021 will look like in hopefully a post Covid-19 world is hard to predict in terms of international travel. Following on from our successful 2020 length of the South Island we will remain in the South taking in some of the stunning scenery on offer.
What you can expect on this camp will be a ~1100km Tour of the South from Dunedin to Queenstown spread over 9 days (10 nights) along with scenic runs and swimming. The route will include some coastal riding, Mt Cook, Milford Sound, plenty of the incredible Central Otago as well as some surprise locations. We’ll have some of our usual epic challenges to help encourage you to push yourself further such as KOM’s, events and handicapped races.
This NZ Epic Camp will have a few deviations from our normal camps
We’ll be trying to make this camp more budget friendly which means we drop the usual epic camp extra’s such as massage and will have slightly less support crew
If you are injured or can’t run any longer you can take the aqua bike option with some extra swimming and cycling while others run.
Athlete requirements - you will need to be FIT for this camp. We do not require you to be uber fast but if you are not able to do an ironman ride under 6.5hrs this camp is not suitable
