ABEL TASMAN EPIC LONG WEEKEND

Join us for this adventure around the Abel Tasman region. We’re aiming for a “long iron weekend” where you complete a scenic iron distance triathlon spread over 3 days.

This is not an “epic camp” with points, races etc, it’s more about completing an iron distance weekend in an incredible part of the country with like minded athletes. You can ride as part of a seeded group or go solo as a race simulation.

Dates: 21st - 24th May 2025

Schedule

  • Wednesday 21st May

    • Assemble in Kaiteriteri/Nelson in the afternoon or evening. There will be the option to travel via mini van up from Christchurch or fly into Nelson in the evening after work.

  • Thursday 22nd May*

    • AM - Mountain bike in and around the Kaiteri MTB Park and/or trail run

    • PM – 3.8km open water swim (distance subject to conditions), ideally a point to point epic swim or laps of Little Kaiteriteri. Water temp should be 14-15c.

  • Transport during the camp
