Epic Camp: New Zealand 2007, 7-21 January

New Route, New Race, New Experience...
EC:NZ’07 is set to commence from Christchurch on 7 January 2007. We’ve set a new course taking in the splendor of the South Island of New Zealand. This year’s camp will see the additional challenge of incorporating an optional Ironman distance event at the conclusion of the camp if that’s not epic what is? There will be an individual and team option for campers to participate in this event.
The Route:

Christchurch to Kaikoura a truly beautiful coast ride

Head inland to Thermal Resort of Hamner Springs

Across the Southern Alps for 2 nights at Lake Brunner (very nice accommodation) This will include a climb over the legendary Arthur’s Pass

Across to and then down the West Coast. Highlights include Franz Josef Glacier and the amazing Lake Matheson

We then head further South and across to a couple of the most visited spots in NZ; Wanaka and Queenstown. We have two nights at each location where the scenery is breathtaking

We finish the camp with the Challenge Queenstown event
