Epic Camp: Italy 2008

EEC:IT’08 is set to commence from Verona, Italy on Sunday 8^th June 2008 (assemble Saturday 7^th).

The Route:

From Verona we will head up along Lake Garda to Trento then into the heart of the Dolomites staying three nights in Cortina a’Ampezzo. On our return route we will stay in Bolzano before heading back to Verona. Be prepared for some of the most spectacular riding anywhere in the world. We will be taking in many of the famous Giro d’Italia passes

Expect multiple mountain passes on some days (either compact cranks or triple chain rings will be compulsory)

This camp is not for the faint hearted. If you are interested you should refer back to Epic Camp France 2006 to see what you are in for.

• All athletes arrive Verona, Italy in time for welcome dinner on Saturday, Saturday 7^th, 2008
• A mid season, volume/strength - oriented training camp for athletes serious about their commitment to athletic excellence
• Epic Training starts Sunday 8^th June, 2008
• Swim and run every day
• Time Trials and Special “Events” to keep it interesting

·        Airport pick-up / drop off at Verona – Villfranca Airport, Italy
