Epic Camp: France 2006, 26 June - 7 July

Step into the unknown.

Two questions:

Have you ever wanted to feel what it is like to ride the Tour de France?

Have you ever wanted to train shoulder to shoulder with a Hawaii Ironman Champion along with some of the most motivated triathletes in the world?

Here is your chance!

Epic Camp France is set to open on June 26th, 2006 taking in some of the most spectacular riding anywhere in the world. Join Hawaii Ironman World Champion Scott Molina and Ultraman World Champion Gordo Byrn for the journey of a lifetime.

The camp will commence in Pau, France.

Day one will traverse much of Stage 16 of this year’s Tour De France taking in the Col d’Ichere, Col de Marie-Blanque and the legendary Col d’Aubisque. We will then be based on top of the Col du Solour for several days of swimming, biking and running in the valleys and mountains of the Northern Pyrenees. Other famous climbs you will be able to tackle include the ski stations of Hautacam, Luz Ardiden and Pla d’Adet.

Day five will be a truly Epic Day as we start our transition down the Pyrenees. First we hit the giant, and most famous of the Pyrenean Mountains, the Col de Tourmalet (2115m) we then roll on to the Col d’Aspin (1489m) and finish off with the Col de Peyresourde (1569m), it will be a massive day in the saddle. We are then based at the French High Altitude Training Centre at Font Romeu before making our way back to Pau along the foothills.
