Camp Date: 28 July-8 August, 2003

Start / finish: Boulder, Colorado, USA

Cost: US$3,250 – Includes everything but Mercy

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off at Denver International Airport
  • Twin share luxury accommodation from Sunday, 27 July to Saturday, 9 August (13 nights)
  • All meals from the welcome dinner on Sunday the 27th to your final breakfast on Saturday the 9th (38 meals)
  • Four sports massages – two per week
  • All sports drinks and on-road nutrition
  • On-road support – we will have two vehicles: van/trailer and a Suburu wagon
  • Coaches – World Champions Scott Molina and Gordo Byrn

Schedule:

27 July: Campers Arrive Denver and are transferred to Boulder.

28 July: Morning Swim, Ride to Ward via Lee Hill, Return via Nederland and Boulder Canyon, Run Four Mile Canyon, Sleep Boulder.

29 July: Morning Swim, Ride to Estes Park via Longmont, Hygiene, Carter Lake, Big Thompson and Glenhaven.

30 July: Ride to Longs Peak, Trail Run up Long Peak picnic area, (Optional Summit Push), Very easy pace down, return Estes Park.

31 July: Ride to TrailRidge, Sleep in Steamboat Springs.

1 August: Ride Steamboat Lake, Run up Steamboat Mountain, Swim, Sleep in Steamboat Springs.

2 August: Swim then Ride to Vail, Sleep in Vail.

3 August: Swim, Run, Weights Day, Sleep in Vail.

4 August: Ride to Aspen, Sleep in Aspen.

5 August: Ride to Leadville, Big Run in Leadville, Sleep in Leadville.

6 August: Big Day, Swim in Leadville then Ride to Winter Park, Sleep in Winter Park.

7 August: High Altitude Swim and Run Day in Winter Park, Sleep in Winter Park.

8 August: Winter Park to Idaho Springs, Mt Evans Hill Climb Extravaganza, Return Boulder via Evergreen (optional ride back from Evergreen), Celebration Dinner!

Notes:
• Sunday, 10 August
is the Boulder Peak Triathlon – Scott and Gordo will be racing
• Planned accommodations are Stanley Hotel in Estes, Vail Racquet Club in Vail and Woodspur Lodge in Winter Park.
